Not much you could do to improve on this one Peter, outstanding! Love the wind blown mane. Colors and detail look great. Love the setting and comp as well.

Hi Peter, all in all looks like an excellent lion shot to me...superb. Liked his focus, the windswept mane, and the stride, also the BG. You are making Etosha work very well for you.
    Cheers

absolutely fantasmagoric image Peter...love the clean Etosha surrounds, the confident stride, the windswept mane and the intent look...

how would you feel about shaving the entire blue sky from the top?

I really like this clean environment you go him in. The strip of sky at top perfect to balance the tan colors and add depth to the image. Tan grass goes with him great. The wind-swept look of the mane a great plus.

    Happy New Year!

Nice pic. Agree with Robert on the blue strip of sky. Love the flowing mane. The face and mane have an almost illustrated quality (not a criticism).

Hi Peter another good image with bags of character.

I know that I am probably wrong, but it looks to me as if you have run some NR over the lion as well, flattening the detail? Any thoughts Peter?

Fantastic image. Love the strip of blue sky on top, pose, composition and exposure. Great focus and detail on the head and mane but the remainder of the body seem to lack a bit of contrast/sharpness IMO. The few dark spots in the grass in front of the lion are a bit distracting. JR

    Watch out ladies!

This is an excellent image. You can see the hunger in his eyes, focused and determined.

    Well done :)
