Nothing fancy here. Just a nice Little Blue in calm water at Tigertail Beach, looking for another minnow. Would you crop it any tighter? All C & C welcomed.

The crop is awesome, as is the light, as is the detail.
Would be cool if the HA was a little more towards the camera. However asking the Heron to twist its head a little to the right is a little difficult!!

Hi Mike, nice image with lovely exposure and subtle light. Like the intent stare with foot up pose, seems ready to strike at whatever caused the ripple in front.

Like this one a lot; great timing on the water ring and raised foot, which adds to an already lovely image:p

    Mike:

I certainly wouldn't crop any tighter. I think you have distilled it to the essentials at this point.

Like the alert pose, ripple, sharpness. Head angle already mentioned by Rob.

    Cheers

Definitely wouldn't crop any tighter. The composition as it is has a really nice balance.
