Happy New Year to you. And welcome to BPN. Impressive looking cat. I like the branching hanging over the top, works for me with the cat being centered in the image. Overall image looks a little dark, might try lightening it a bit. The reds seems a bit strong here but maybe that's how it actually looked.
Hi Dicky, nice to see you posting on here.
Firstly would like to see the image bigger so we can appreciate these magnificent animals better, if in doubt Dicky about the ideal size to post, checkout the Guidelines.
OK, back to the image, I like the low POV and the stare with the jaw slightly open. It could perhaps go a little lighter, but then it might blow the whites around the neck unless you do some 'selective' lightening. Would agree that it is slightly too central, but happy as presented.
Looking forward to seeing more Dicky, and kind regards to Poonam.
Fond memories of the Bagh :)

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
@ Steve Canuel. Thanks. Agree the image is a bit dark but I am really bad in processing. The red is like it was.
@Steve Kaluski. Agree about the size. Will work it out right when I post next. Selective Lighting - whew I can barely spell it. Regards from Poonam and everyone else at The Bagh.
welcome here indeed Dicky! love this photo - super POV, mood, light and subject :)
will be nice to see even more tiger images here now that you are posting.
I have to agree that this needs to be seen bigger for more enjoyment...try and repost at 800-1024 pix wide on the long edge?
Will do in a better size. Just getting used to this site. This one lost out in the final rounds of BBC WPY in 2009.
How the h e l l in this world I missed this
Excellent image Aditya and this image rocks with typical RTR colors. Big time congrats for BBC WPY 2009 finals
