Default Beginning of a New Day

I took this just this morning as the sun was coming up and shining on the old barn.

There was a tree shadow that was across the barn which I didn't like, so I removed it with curves layers and some cloning. I used five of my textures and the texture "Funkenstein" from Shadowhouse Creations. I also applied two blur overlays.

Beautiful composition, Christopher. I like how the trees and upper part of the barn is lit up with the morning sun - a new day has arrived! I do not remember to have seen another of your barn image with snow. Really nice.

Thanks Judy and Indranil! I appreciate the comments. Indranil, I have posted an image of the barn with snow before here.

I think that the warm tones add nicely to this. It is my new favorite image of your bar images. I love the creased edging on the border.

Hi Christopher, the nicest shot of your barn yet I think. Love the warmth here and the texture too!:)

Outstanding image, Christopher. I told you you were the texture king! Man, the light on this is beautiful and the textures are perfection. Might tone the bright spot next to the barn down by just a hair (or clone a little of the texture into the area at maybe 30% just to bring down that brightness a tiny, tiny bit.

Christopher, I think it's my favorite barn image also. The lighting and texture are perfect:) You must have a beautiful farm.
