    Taken last year at the Audubon of Florida's Center for Birds of Prey in Maitland, Florida
    D200 and Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR lens
    ISO 320, f/5.6, 1/640 sec.

    Hi, Harry
    Well you've got my attention with this one. This is one very up close and personal view of a GHO. I especially like the tight cropping......I feel like I'm beak to nose with him in a stare down.....and he's winning. Terrific job!!

    Excellent detail Harry. I especially like the texture visible in the iris.

    terrific, I even see the sheen on the feathers.

    My preference would be to see a bit more of the sienna color eye surround on the right

    Great close-up Harry - the eyes and plumage detail are a stand-out.
