My husband and I have a lovely routine each morning. We sit in bed, sip coffee and watch the new day begin. This is one of the most brilliant sunrises I remember seeing. Instead of enjoying my coffee I was standing outside in the freezing cold taking pictures :). I have a new wide angle lens and this was a great way to experiment with it. In PP I toned down the red channel and then used Topaz DeNoise, super strong setting or something like that.

Nancy, It's easy to see why you went outside! :) Wonderful colors and lovely comp with the WA.

Wow! A sky like that would make me brave the cold too! :D Very lovely colors, though I might tone down yellows a bit.

I'd stand outside in the freezing cold for this one, too! Good choice! Very strong silhouette, Nancy. I think the sky is very dramatic. I also think if you went to print this one you might take some off the top where the focus goes softer but for web viewing I think it adds to the drama. :)
