Taken with D3s 600vr and 1.7 converter. I was lying flat on my stomach, used a bean bag with a badger panning plate.

    Vivaldo:

Love the impossibly long legs, spray of drops, subtle greens in the wings.

It is always helpful to include all the camera settings, such as f/stop, etc. to help us critique the image, as well as including the post processing work done.

I think the image could use a bit of CW rotation, based on the lines in the background.

The head seems just a bit soft on my monitor.

    Cheers

    Randy

I like this shot a lot. Good head angle, subject placement and beautiful layered BG. I detect a little motion blur. Net net...extremely well done...it's hard to do such shots lying down.

I agree with the softness, but I do like the water dropplets and the nice light. I would love to photograph these guys someday.

Good flight pose and look-back from this individual. Good comp, and I like the layered BG. Just a bit more sharpening needed for web presentation, but super job in getting this from flat on your belly!

Thanks for comments and crits appreciated. I have used some selective sharpened on the head, hopefully it's looks a bit better.
