One more from my Cooper's vs Rabbit series. I wish the chicken wire wasn't around the tree, but you get what you get I guess. I like this one almost as much as the other one because of the talons out on the bird and the rabbit looking up. Looking forward to reading others' opinions.

    Bryan:

Another amazing capture. The interaction is wonderful, and I feel really bad for the rabbit!

If your ethics allow, I might be tempted to try a version with the tree completely removed.

Such a sense of impending doom.

Was this image before or after the previous one?

    Cheers

    Randy

Awesome capture Bryan! Amazing how close you got to the action. In addition to the outstretched talons and the great eye contact, I like the shadow of the bird in the snow. I agree with Randy's suggestion about removing the tree.

Bryan, I prefer this to your previous post. The striking angle of the cooper is better, and I like the intense stare. These images dont come around too often, so enjoy the accolades.

Amazing action captured here Bryan. The hawk must have been quite intent on his work to let you get that close. One more vote for removing the tree.

Take care and wishing you good light,

    Steve

    Fantastic shot Bryan,
I agree with removing the tree, there is the tree's shadow you might have to extend out to the right hand bottom corner.

This image really demonstrates how very quick the Cooper's make their attack! So quick that I don't believe the rabbit had time to even realize it's impending doom, at the instant, when your shutter fired. Such a great action shot, I too, would try to remove the fencing. Well done, but please don't share the gory sequel. :(

I figured it would get many votes for some tree removal. That give me a nice weekend project. Randy this one happened before the one I posted previously.

Awesome capture Bryan the posture of the Coopers could not be better. Amazing that you were able to get so close to the action. Another vote for removing the fence.

The action is amazing here Bryan, I prefer this one if it weren't for the tree.

Amazing action again here. As in the previous post, the expressions make this one for me too.

I am sure that you can photoshop the chicken wire and tree out of the frame Brian. Then you will be left with a cracker of a shot. The hawk is just stunning. And with a 70-200 !

Ok, after about an hour I think I got it. It was more difficult than I thought it would be because the shadow lines had to connect and blend in. Please let me know thoughts about the editing. Thanks.

The rework looks great Bryan! There are a few brown areas on the edge of the frame but they should be easy to fix. Nice job!
