The outdoors has always been a big part of my life, whether it be camping with the Boy Scouts as a kid, hunting and fishing, or photographing wildlife. I've been photographing wildlife as a hobby for about four years, and have focused primarily on bird photography.
I moved to Williamsburg, VA about six months ago, having relocated for work from the Cleveland, OH area where I lived for the past 25 years. With two small children, my time in the field has been limited during the past few years, but I still enjoy getting out a few times a month to watch and photograph birds. I've even found a few go-to spots for birds along the nearby James River.
I have enjoyed reading the forum posts and am impressed by the outstanding photography shared here. I hope to learn more about composition and post processing from these forums and look forward to viewing more great images.
