I see that Don H. has posted a raccoon image. Here are two of the four little ones that I captured at the same time.

    Milt,

Consider the focal lengths other photographers was using I assume this is a tight crop. Like the symmetry and I would have gone for a vertical and cropped the green on the left.

Sid, per your suggestion, here is a vertical crop of the image. Yes, it is a tight crop.

    Milt,

With a good eye contact it would have been a very nice image IMO. Good luck next time.
    Will be there tomorrow evening.

Nice that you got to spend some time with this family. As Sid has mentioned the image is suffering due to the large crop. Maybe look at more of an environment shot not cropped in as tight, not sure if possible as we havent seen the original. They are cute little buggers.

Very nice picture. Personally I think the repost this cropped to tightly. I would cloned out the green utilizing some of the Brown branches below, then select that area and do a slight Gaussian blur on it

    Milt,

I think this is a good example where moving left (if possible) would have been advisable. Probably would have resulted in less issues with the left side.

I agree with Myer, the recrop is too tight as the left raccoon has no space in front of him.

    Happy New Year!
