    Hi Folks;

    Captured this little guy in our garden this gloomy, cold & very windy afternoon. Had to use fill flash and Painted him using free fotosketcher & CS5

    Comments always welcome & appreciated

    Nice composition, Gus. Love the colors on the bird specially the golden color with hint of green in between. Just wish for a slightly lower shooting angle.

    Very nice, Gus! That purple throat is incredible, isn't it? I wonder if they know they even have that? :)

    Another winning image IMO!

    Hi Folks;

    Thanks for looking. Appreciate all your comments. Actually I shot this photo at eye level. Notice little shadow under tail.

    Another beauty, Gus! Love the purple throat color! :) I would darken the blacks a little bit, just enough to give the image a little more pop. Well done.

    Gus, I think you did a great job w/ the painterly effect. The purple color in the throat are wonderful.

    Gus, I like the painting look. The purple throat is gorgeous but so is the gold iridescence on the body.:)
