We have dairy goats, and before too long they'll be kidding which means we'll have new baby goats. :) I think the first doe is due sometime in February. This is an old photo of two of the kids from 2010. I used five of my textures on this and added a blur overlay and vignette.

This is DARLING! You are a master of textures. I used to have Nubians and they were a lot of fun. How many do you have and what do you do with all that milk??

Our goats are Nubians too...Got to love those floppy ears! :) We currently have 12 does, 3 bucks, and 3 pet wethers. We're a big family(I'm third oldest of nine), so we have plenty of use for the milk. We also make cheese, yogurt, and butter.

Okay, Christopher, the image is, indeed, ADORABLE...but what the heck is a pet wether? You are a master texturizer (that should be on your signature line somewhere!)

Thanks, Jules! I think I'll add that. :) A wether is a male goat that has been neutered.

Again, the master has worked his magic. In addition, the comp is adorable. both good eye contact, and loving poses. Great capture.

How sweet! Lovely processing Christopher! I used to have goats from the late 80s to about 2000 when we lived in the country, but not milk goats. First I had regular-sized ones and then sold them and got miniature goats, a better size for me to work with. They were a lot of fun! Wish I'd had a digital camera then. All my males were wethers as my friend just down the road had billies I could borrow when needed :)

Thanks Judy! We've had goats for over seven years(feels like seven lifetimes! :)). Can't imagine life without them!

So sweet looking! I think the processing matches the image well. Nice job w/ the vignette.:)
