    Default Holiday Greetings from Rudy

Season's greetings - It's been a while. It's been a tough year! In May, we lost out wonderful dog, Lori. Rudy was very traumatized, and is just starting to get past it (as are we). In June, we got Rudy a new buddy, Emmie, (picture coming soon), in July we moved into our new home we'd been building, and in August, I broke my ankle (pins and plates).... Sigh - everything is finally starting to get back to normal, and I really hope 2011 is less of a disaster than 2009 or 2010! For Rudy and Emmie, though, they are lucky, as they were adopted from a rescue shelter, and are being spoiled rotten. I had the chance to get some pictures of them in front of the tree (as soon as they were sure about "stay").

    Hope everyone is doing well!

Rudy looks beautiful. Hope that the New Year is going to be filled with joy. I love animals and I know how hard it is to lose a special member of the family.:) Broken ankle? Yikes!!

Amy, my goodness, what a year! I also am so sorry for the loss of your dog. Here's to a wonderful and blessed year for yourself, your family and the new dynamic duo!

Thank you both so much for the good wishes for 2011!!! The phrase "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times" has been running through my head the past couple of years - because on top of the disasters, we have built a new house, my step-daughter gave her dad his first grand-child, and so many other blessings.... So I definitely still manage to just be in awe of our good fortune. But REALLY, it would be nice if the seagull of fate would quit pooping on me so I can enjoy it! :p

Photo of Emmie coming up when the 24 hours is up. When I was last on BPN, I thought we could post multiple times in Friends and Family forum... Guess that was changed.
