    Hi There

This is a shot of "Sirius" the Falkland Island Striated Caracara during his solo display at HCT. He does most of his display walking around the arena looking under various rocks and objects for food, and he is a very intelligent bird.
He doesn't do much in the way of flying and it was difficult to get a shot with a clean background, but on this one he hopped up onto a mound of grass and I was able to squeeze off a couple of pics.

Another interesting bird....and a different one at that. Fascinating to hear of their different behaviors. There is good detail in the head but I think that the F/4 "gotcha" in DOF for the back and right leg.
