I like this image very much. I wonder what he caught?

Thanks, Nancy. I never seem to be able to get an image of their prey.

Great image. Colors work really good together, ripple pattern nice too.

    Lovely image Ian.
Was there any more to this image, or was it a tight shot?
If there was more, I'd love to see the rest of the ripples and the reflection.
It is still a great shot though!

Lovely image, Ian. Bird is still turned slightly away from you, though. Taking another step to the left probably would have put him dead even with your focal plane (if that were possible.)

Exposure looks very nice and there's a good DOF here. Water is beautiful, as is the overall lighting of the image. I can't decide on the white "sparks" coming off of the place where the bill is touching the water, though. Might tone down the larger ones and see what you think...

Nice details, feeding pose and complimentary BG/FG colors. I would like a little more room all around.

Thanks, folks. I believe I have a little more real estate and will check when I get home tonight. At the same time, I'll work a little on the 'sparkles'.
