Wow, it's been forever since my last post here. I haven't been doing as much photography since a nice thing called college entered my life :)
Here is a shot from a series taken this summer at Popham Beach, Maine. When the tide went out, water would remain trapped in a shallow lagoon between a sandbar and the beach creating a great feeding spot. The terns where feeding their young on the beach. This parent came back with two (fish?, eels?) but seems to have messed up on the pass. The juvenile has a foot on one while the other is flying overhead.
I am not sure about the cropping here. I have room all around to extend the frame. What about the aspect ratio (custom) or bird placement in the frame?

Hi Joel, I like the action in the shot, but in my opinion, and I don't know if in this case it was possible, but a little lower angle would improve the shot and the BG...
Lovely Panoramic Joel - a tender moment.
Lower down would improve the image marginally, but getting the "feed me" money shot clinches it for me.
Great stuff.
Love the flying fish. I wonder if you cropped so that the bottom of the frame just lost those two white objects and also rotated the image CCW 0.5 degrees.
Hope you don't mind me editing your work please tell me if it's not welcome:)
You can take these suggestions with a pinch of salt:D
