My favourite bird from my recent trip to the Pantanal in Brazil, a Chestnut-eared Aracari. These birds are common in the gardens of the cattle farms/lodges. Such a stunning bird.

    Phil,

Very beautiful bird. Picture is very sharp.

The background is a little busy to my taste.

What a nice looking bird. The busy BG doesn't bother me personally as it gives a true feel of the birds habitat, however the white patch of sky below the bird does catch the eye and could probably be toned down a little more. Also I guess the head could take another round of sharpening. And most importantly I'd give the bird some room all around in the frame. It too tightly cropped/composed. A little more space on the left and a lot more on the right would work better.

Thanks for the comments guys. I have reposted the Aracari with a different cropping which does look better.

The repost looks really nice Phil, the only thing that I'd ask for is more of a headturn from him.

Thanks Nate. I hear you regarding the head angle - but this one does not really worry me. I like to see different head angles from time to time.
