What a great shot. The trunk leads the eye right up to that face. Colors and detail look real good as does the composition. I wouldn't change a thing.

I agree, beautiful image, moment, and composition. I'm sure it would win a major contest somewhere in the world, or at least a podium finish.

Nice one Marc. The trunk is very strong compositionally as it leads the eye to the subject and its action.

This is lovely Marc, well done. Have you heard from anyone at Rekero whether all cubs are still surviving?

Ditto to all the previous comments. I also like the hint of motion conveyed by what appears to be a slight motion blur in the area of the right shoulder (or is that just the way the fur is).

Thanks Hilary, last reports from a few weeks ago had them ALL doing well.
I'll try and find out the latest, and let you know.

    Thanks Bill
I'm fairly sure it's just the light coloured fur the young ones take on until totally lost at around 12 months.

Another wonderful, whimsical shot that is so compelling I couldn't quit going back to it. Great work catching this little guy in a perfect moment and your camera work is super, as usual.
