    This image is stunning.

    You must have been very close to where it was to be able to get such a capture with the 300 and 2X.

    lovely image with good lighting even in the underparts of the wings.
    what i also liked is the fact that the background is not totally blurred - hence showing the habitat, at the same time not distracting from the subject.

    Peter, you shoot know that a Olympus camera has a crop factor of two times. So a 300 mm X 2 times crop X two times the converter is 1200mm.So its not that extraordinary I guess.

    This is outstanding! Love the light and pose. I feel it is a little tight on the right and would also crop some off the bottom if it were mine.
