    Default Laughing at me...

... thats what he was doing. Its been a long long time we did not see sun around here. I was hoping to do some shooting during the Holydays but, yeap you guessed it, no sun. Finally gave up and went out anyways. Got this guy swimming along mallards. Ohhh and to make everything perfect... wednesday when I had to go work we had a lovely sunny day.

    Hi Tom,

Nice soft light and a great expression. Don't complain about overcast, it's the best time to photograph since there are no shadows nor hard contrast/ For this picture, if the sun was out, it would have needed to be coming from your left, to illuminate the Widgeon's face. I'll take overcast anytime :)

Lovely expression, I would go bacl pn the sharpening a little bit.

We were in Niagar Falls over Christmas so I know what you mean about the weather Tom !! This is a beautiful image with a lovely pose and head turn . The open mouth is an extra bonus. Very nicely done !! We will watch for posts when the sun comes out Tom.

Hi Tom, I love the pose, especially the tongue!
Is it just me or could the image benefit from a slight CCW rotation? I have the feeling it's swimming downwards.
    Cheers,
    Christof
