    Hi Folks;

    Costa's Hummingbird arrived back again. Photographed this little male in our garden this morning. Weather, sunny blue skies, 70F.

    Wow Gus, what a beauty, love the sharpness and vibrant colors. BG is great. We're in a blizzard here, no birds to be found! ann

    Fabulous hummer, Gus! Might move him just a bit to the right so the front wing isn't quite so close to the frame's edge. (Just a sliver more!)

    Also, I think you could back down on the sharpening just a tiny bit as well. You're very crisp here but almost to the edge of what looks natural. The head and tail look great but the middle of the body is a bit oversharpened.

    Stunning colors and splendid BG. I don't know what you do to get them to stop and pose for you like this but it's working!!! :):):)

    Great Costa, Gus. I like the little more room too. You captured the purple beautifully.

    What a gem of a bird Gus! Wish we had them here! I like the repost. I think a better version of the image would have the bird looking down a bit and towards you.

    Default Room on the Left

    Agree that the extra room on the left is an improvement on an already superb image.
