I had a chance after Christmas dinner to stop at a field in Gainesville where sandhills congregate during the day. I cropped to a pano and used Topaz Simplify Watercolor and masked back in the heads and some of the feathers. I'm not sure about the crop - do I need more room on top?

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.:)

I don't think you need more room at top. I like the pp you did.

I love the pp, Cheryl but I generally prefer panos with 1/3 below the subject and 2/3 above. For me it feels tight on top. Nice HA's on the birds - I had to look twice to see the one turned around backwards!!! That's great!

Hi Cheryl, I like this one as is. I think the close crop on top helps keep the eye down low. I like the simplified style and colors. Very nice!

I love your PP and think you did a great job. The crop looks good to me, but think the photo with the 4th bird on the left be QM out of the photo. Here's my idea in B&W though I must say that the original is great.

Thanks, everyone. Gus, thanks for the remake - I like it a lot and it gave me an idea - hopefully I can work on it this week:)
