    Alan, wonderful lighting and detail. Often on the images of wood ducks that I see, the red around the eye is blown out so as to lose the detail. You have done a good job here.

    Superb calling pose. Beautifully exposed with lovely colors. I liked the eye contact here as well.
    A tad more room behind the bird would have been nice IMO as the tail looks clipped.
