    Default Reddish Egret in Texas

    I captured this guy back in April at East Beach in Galveston,TX.

    Canon 1DMKII and 500 f4 IS with 1.4TCII handheld.

    Great pose and low angle. I would open up the shadows a bit.

    Neat low angle and vertical comp. I love the one foot lifting with water splashing off of it. I agree about opening up the shadows, and I would also eliminate the two faint OOF reflection circles touching the subject.

    This image does an excellent job of capturing the unique movement of the reddish egret when fishing.

    I like the low angle and comp. The lighting looks a bit harsh:cool:
