    it was taken in very cloudy day so freezing it perfectly was quite challange and it was a sudden moment so keep it for next time but this image i like is because of its wing position and the green on the wings look goood to me.

    Lovely duck, great wing position.
    I think the point of focus may have been on the wing, to my eye it looks sharper than the head.

    I do think there is room to tinker with the exposure via curves adjustment in ACR to get a bit better tonal separation here. As is, the image looks a bit murky.

    I like the comp.

    Randy's right, the ruddy shelduck is one lovely duck; we have them over here in China. I'd like to see whether you can put Randy's suggestions to work and improve this promising image.

    Gorgeous freeze Mital. The focus does seem to be on the wing which btw is perfectly exposed. Nice suggestions by Randy. Would love to see the re-post.

    Sharpened head of JPEG. Lightened all especially the dark tones. :)

    Love the downstroke.

    You are most welcome. I selected the head with a QM and ran normal JPEG sharpening at .3/250/0.
