I had a few images of blue tits from today that I was fairly happy with. This is one of them. It seemed that most other birds had decided to stay under cover away from the cold and sleet (and yes I was still out :) ) but there was a nice little flock of blue tits and great tits out and about.

C&C much appreciated. Also feel free to post any re-crops should you feel it is necessary.

great clarity in the eye - what a funny stance, makes me grin. combined with the diagonal perch it feels like its about to topple over in a very prim way... or like a clown on a unicycle..... love it!

Sweet Ben. They are such great birds! Love the look-back post. Head and eye are nice and sharp- a bit more depth of field would have made the wing sharp too. As for the crop I would take some off the bottom and a little to the top.

What a cutie! I thought you might have spiked those whites but they look to be within range so great job on the exposure! Love the blue color and the soft green of his body - this is a beautiful little bird. Might take the bottom frame up just above your signature and see what you think. I'd also clean up the two bright spots on his beak if this were my image.

Lovely over the shoulder HA...you did very well!

Thank you for the comments. I will take a look at the image with the alternative crop suggested.

Jules, I saw the bright spot comment coming. I noticed it before posting, so not sure why i didn't do something about it. Perhaps too much festive food had made me lazy :)
