    This in an image i posted a while ago.
    but i re-edited it and tried a vertical crop.
    i know it is a little soft :S


    Nikon D300s
    Nikkor 70-300 @280mm
    F7.1
    ISO 800
    1/1600

    As you said it's a bit soft. I feel the colours are a little washed out. Perhaps boosting the blacks or contrast would help?

    A nice habiat image. Good HA and nice details But as you say somewhat soft.

    It's a very good shot, you just need to bring out more of the info. I converted from Adobe RGB to sRGB, resized (800 max on height), levels, curves and sharpening. Hope you don't mind.
