One from about a month back at the beach. There were two Surfbirds in a group of Black Turnstones. I camped out in front of this rock, and eventually this guy walked by. I made five images, and this was this one had the best pose and HA.

    Aidan:

Very nice , well exposed, like the rock, the pose, raised foot, soft background.
The lighting is really very nice.

    Cheers

Wow..Aidan this is a life bird for me but then so is the one in your avatar....guess I'll have to make a trip down some time. Nice and sharp, decent background and perch, those yellow legs rock....Thanks for sharing

haha It's almost like he/she was walking along and froze when you were spotted. I really like the pose with the "heel" of the foot lifted. The head angle and eye contact both help to make this a great image.
I'd not heard of a Surfbird so I had to google it. Great looking shorebird!!

Hey Aidan, great pose, and I like your angle of capture. Good all round detail too.

I like the exposure you've used here. The details and colours look very nice, and sharp.
