    Mital:

Another image with that nice low shooting angle. Well exposed.
I might consider a small crop up from the bottom, since the reflection here isn't strong.

The bird looks just a bit soft to me, possibly effected by the second catchlight (which is natural from the water)

    Cheers

I love the one green feather. Agree, this one does not look as sharp as most of your stuff Mital, just not razor--especially the face.

It looks as if it is swimming a tad downhill....

Good low perspective Mital, and I would take a bit off the bottom, and a little more off the top. A little selective sharpening will work. :)

Better but there is still something funky/muddy with the detail on the head.... And, that is said after I cleaned my reading glasses. What say the rest?

guru ji thats so quick response. btw the teal is in pre winter stage and we usually find teal's female like this. check this out. http://orientalbirdimages.org/search...Family_ID=&p=1

indian images database.. i know images would not be quality but you get idea on plumage we have here.
still i would wish you can guide me how exactly we can do for that part. i may be wrong on the head part you are talking or may be i am not getting your point.

awaiting your response for this to rectify :)

    cheers.

    Mital:

I wonder if perhaps the head is wet enough that it is creating the slightly smeared look?

I think you can probably work on the eye a bit to increase the apparent sharpness of that area, might help..

There was a subtle color shift in the repost, the water is less aqua, more blue to my eye.

Artie will surely clarify his issue with the sharpness.

    Cheers

    Randy
