    Default Bald Eagle

    About another 5 weeks and the female should be incubating eggs in their new nest. Until then, a lot of work needs to be done to make it a home. They seem to work on it in spurts as of late so timing is everything. I got lucky last Friday as both adults added more sticks to their ever growing nest in a new location.

    Canon 7D, 500mm f/4L, about 80% of full frame, manual, 1/1600" @ f/5.6, ISO 400, tripod

    Fantastic shot! Personally I might desaturate and blur the bg a bit more to make the eagle stand out more...
