    He was calling to some other cranes a little ways away.

    Fantastically sharp image. The only picky point would be if the OOF grass stalks under the bill could have been cloned out - v.difficult to do though. well captured.

    Neat image, Roy! I've only seen these birds once when I was in MI last year - are they this white? I was thinking they were a tad more to the yellow side. You might look at adding a bit of warmth if you think it's fitting.

    I really like the pose and HA on this one. The way he appears right in the middle of the grass...really lovely.

    THanks Richard. I did clone those reeds that were above the beak but decided to leave the ones below.

    Julie, they are more grey (bluish) than yellow.
