Excellent take off pose and I love the head angle. It seems a bit dark on my monitor and feels a bit tight up top.

    John:

Great pose, angle in frame is excellent to show a large portion of both wings, nice head angle, sense of interaction.

Do agree with Duane, on both counts. A little tight on top, and the eagle is too dark. The whites are good, but the dark feathers are too dark, at least in my experience.

Perhaps you kept the overall exposure where it is to avoid blowing the whites.

I opened the image in ACR and played around with the parametric curve option.

Left the highlight slider as is, minor tweak on bright , significant lifting of darks.

I may have gone just slightly overboard to make the point, but I think it shows the potential.

Such a nice image, worth some additional tweaking.

    Cheers

    Randy
