Hi Gary,

I like the foot on this guy! The pose is interestig and the water/BG is very nice.

The only negative I see is maybe some loss of detail in the neck and head plumage.

Umm, not so thrilled about the perch. I give him credit for balancing on it however.

I agree with Troy about the halo but this image really shows off how big it's feet are. I love the smoothness of the water as well.

Agree with the comments above, especially the details of the feet. I'd suggest lightening and brightening the eye a bit. I saw these birds on Lake Geneva (please excuse my Americanization of the name) and that red eye really pops.
