    That's a great one Alan. Everything in the photo is in focus! The BG has just enough texture to look natural.

    Too cool! Looks like it is using stilts. I love the strong right angles created by the perches and legs.

    Thanks for this, Alan. I remember enjoying this shot (or one just like it) on your excellent Web site. A singing sparrow would be fine enough; you add to that the "stilts" and the clean background. I suppose I'm seeing a faint shadow running down his face onto his breast.

    Alan what a great compo and the perch pose. i see some bg compression. dont know if its compression of the particles in bg which got blurred by dof..
