    Bojan:

The shadowed snow makes for a dramatic background. Great wing flare, landing area anchors image.
    Exposure looks solid.

There is a fair amount of noise showing in the darker area of the feathers and some of the details seem a bit soft. Does this represent a significant crop? Motion blur is also a risk at this shutter speed.

Good job sticking with it, this type of photography has a pretty low yield !

    Cheers

    Randy

Nicely done Bojan! This must have been a difficult shot to get. I like the spread wings and the angle of the pose. There appears to be some chroma noise in the wings - perhaps running some NR would fix that without any image quality loss. But the main point of your shot is the stop action and that has been done very well.

Very cool image. I find the grass kind of out of place and would think the image would be a lot stronger with out it.

Good point by Alan, and I agree. The IQ does make it look like a big crop...either that or a resizing thing. Excellent pose though, and I applaud your tenacity in getting this image!!

    Thanks for kind words.
It is not significant crop, maybe 20 %, I think problem will be in high iso and Olympus and resiszing too.
I will try harder. Next time I will try without landing area.

Happy holidays too all BPN members and participants.
