    Good action shot - legs moving, blur in foot, water drops all add to the feeling of action. I wish the land was not running through its head.

    Good comments from Allan.
    Very good choice of settings to freeze the action but give enough DOF for this large bird, coming right at you.

    I do agree about the background, it would be preferable to have a bit more separation from the head. If you could have changed your position (grown a few inches:)) that would have given greater separation

    Easy for me to say in retrospect, harder to do in the field, but I keep working on 'seeing' the entire image as I am taking them, trying to improve things in camera. (It is a work in progress for me!)

    Great action nicely frozen here Jan. I actually like the multi coloured BG, just a pity it runs through the Flamingo's head.
