    This mature was hanging around the bears with an immature but gave limited opps. Here he came right at me giving little time to react.
    D300, 400 2.8, f4, 1/2000, iso500, man exp.

    Nice shot, sharp. I was just looking at this shot on your website. Where were you located exactly during this shot? I like the lush BG - maybe lighten BG a little bit for more contrast against wing

    Todd, loved the pose and eye. BG is busy but the separation is still nice. Some room below will definitely help. Using that lens for flight photography must be quite tough.

    Good job on sharp focus with the limited time, Todd. Wondering about darkening the BG and brightening the eagle a little to bring it forward in the image.

    You did well to react and get such a sharp and detailed image. It would be nice if there was a bit more space below the eagle for it to "fly into"...

    I agree with a bit more space below but as you said you had little time to react. The eagle still nicely separated from the busy BG specially in Tony's post.
