Love the light, colour and mood you've created here Hendri. Nice low perspective also.

    Hendri:

The colors, exposure, sharpness, poses all great here.
The bright tongues really add a punch of color.
I am guessing that had just finished eating because of the fresh blood on the face of the second one from the right.

A high impact image, coupled with good techs. Very well done.

Hi Hendri, an image I would love to capture and one of the nicest lioness images I have seen. Great light & colour with an excellent POV.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. Sorry for the spelling mistake, only noticed it too late and now I cant change it. "quenching their first" should read "quenching their thirst":o

Good point Harshad - I tighter crop could work nicely here.

Yes Randy they did come of a kill but not visiible from the road.

Morkel I had them to myself for more than a hour. The nice thing about Urikaruus:)

    Hendri,

You are on a roll with some fantastic shots. Beautifully exposed and a great moment from the great beasts. Thanks.
