I couldn't really decide where to go with this image, its not for the theme, or for anything.
I'm in my 3rd, 16 hour work day, tired, brain dead and still working on this image.
Can't tell you how many changes, additions, colors, and new CS5 features I've used over the past god knows how many hours.
This image started out as a panorama of Denali.
The title is an Edgar Rice Burroughs novel.
I think I should have quit long ago....:)
    What do you think?

I think it's cool. It looks like an ice cave opening up to let the gannet out. Beautiful details on the gannet BTW!

Very surreal and interesting composition....like a giant ice shark mouth....maybe add a couple of eyes above it!

I think it's pretty cool as is! It does look like the bird is about to be swallowed by some sort of giant ice monster!

Great work! I agree it looks like the mouth of some ice monster! :) Perfect composition, and I like the zoom blur around the edges. Very well done!

Paul, you continue to amaze me with your creativity and PP skills. Sometimes the stresses in life lead to wonderful creative moments and I think you had one here! I like it a lot and I love the "crazy Ivan" you took from the original image and concept. Love that gannet too!

Your sleep deprived brain, still seems to be functioning quite well. Very unique image. I would love to see an eagle in your background.
