    Been very busy of late with work but saw this image while sorting out my library and wanted to share it. This was a young mail leopard resting on a small dam wall below our vehicle. This is full frame and shallow DOF with focus on eye was intentional .Minor ps work with LR 3.

    Canon 1D MK 3 , 500 F4 L , ISO 640 , F 4 at 1/50th

    Nice portrait image Andrew. DOF looks pretty good at f/4.

    Andrew - nice intensity and the eye sort of continues the pattern of the leopard. Well done.

    lovely portrait Andrew and the DOF works well...well done in getting this sharp at 1/50 - monopod?

    by the way - what's a "mail" leopard? can I order one? ;) :D

    The DOF does makes this stand out. Tack sharp too.

    Nice detail showing in this portrait. Agree with choice of f stop as mentioned it has given nice separation from the soft clean bg.
