    met gus, aka "Mr. Cobos", and his wife, adrianna yesterday at anhinga trail. we had a great time and were able to take a lot of photos in spite of the fog:(. didnt have to go far for this guy as he was right beside the parking lot.

    d300, sigma 50-500 at 165mm, f/11, 1/250s, -0.7EV, flash fill, tripod. standing next to clyde butcher, you'd think this one would be better:confused: guess talent doesnt rub off!!

    thanks for looking and i appreciate your comments. i'm expecting this one to get shreaded!!:eek:

    Hey Harold,
    Thats a mighty fine capture...:D I like the composition, bird placement is on the money. The fill flash eliminated the shadows on the neck. Love the background. However for my taste, I would have liked the greens towards the bottom to be a little less intensive, and next time talk to Mr. Heron so he could just turn his head and look at you...:D:D:D

    Harold, I think Gus covered everything quite well, nice job. The only thing I wonder is if the GB (bird alone) could use a bit more pop?
