    This image was taken almost 3 years ago in Yosemite Valley. I cloned out two OOF foreground grasses.

    lovely pose and exposure here Joerg - I love how the coyote pops from the bright surroundings, with just enough detail in the snow to make it sit nicely as a whole.

    Hi Joerg,

    An absolutely sublime image of a coyote in a pure snow back and foreground. I love coyotes and this one looks extremely healthy. Wonderful use of techs to make this a true winner. You nailed the tawny eyes in this beautiful shot as well. Great work.

    Thank you all for the kind feedback. Yes, in addition to the detail in the coyote I love the details in the snow. Took me 3 years on BPN to figure out how to bring them out... :) Thank you all.

    Beautiful coyote with some great detail. The pose is nice as is the subtle little drifts in the snow.

    this is a great image all round !! Really am impressed with the exposure here! Great detail from Canons sharpest lens ;) I really would love to go to this area one day :)
