This Avocet image was from a recent trip to Hatteras, and just begged to be converted. It was taken on a dreary, rainy, overcast day.
    Topaz did it job well.
I haven't had much of a chance to try it but from what I've seen so far its a sweet set.
    Thanks for looking

I used Topaz Clean a filter plug-in for CS5, I clicked on the presets on left side (Curley Smooth), and adjusted sliders on right to taste.....giving me the above results.
Is this what you were asking?
Looking back at the above image, I've cloned out the ghosting on the back leg, the line bugged me.

Paul, Nice looking walking pose and the Clean adds a bit to the image. I like the way you've framed this.:)

I love the Topaz plugs, so versatile. Good job with this one, I like the effect you got. You were spot on to remove the bit of halo around the outer edges. Nice repost!

I especially love the monotone look with the blue legs...they really add a pop of color! My favorite, though, are those curly feathers along the body...just gorgeous!
