    Scott, I like the pose and the sharp details. Your exposure looks good - you could probably tone down the center of the wing to show a bit more detail because I can see it there. It looks a bit tight in the frame esp. the bottom to me.

    Hi Scott,

    This is a nicely-stopped moment of a gull on landing but it's too bad you didn't get its intense eye in the shot. Gulls have the most photogenic eye of about any bird. The background water is wonderful here and really adds to the shot. I'm with Denise that the image is a little snug in the frame. Thanks.
