This is Shingu, the mum to 6 cubs.
We followed her stalking and then pursuing Impala one early morning, unfortunately she wasn't successful but I did manage a few frames at a relatively close distance in good light.

This image is in conjunction with a previous chase scene posting here:

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

Well timed here Marc, as Im sure this wasnt easy. Good running pose with all four feet off the ground, and the cheetah is sparated from the BG nicely.

    Marc,

I have no images of running Cheetahs, so I am jealous.

Nice and clear, just a pity you were not slightly ahead of it.

Well done on this Marc, very tough to try get images like this. I can see there is a lot of tall grass around as well, so you clearly did well to catch her in the open. I really like the positions of the feet, and the shadow is an added bonus.
    All techs look pretty good.

Nice, clean & simple Marc, with good action, the crop suits it well.

Nice timing on the mid stride pose. Techs are spot on. Pano crop works well. Well done.

    Well caught Marc,

She stands out well , even without any feet on the ground !

I like the crop as well.

Nice timing. I really like the curves shown off by the body in stride.

Great action. Like the the cheetah is just above the ground.
