    Have got to see them but never have had a chance at any decent images let alone in flight. Image made @ Nisqually NWR yesterday.
    D300, 400 2.8 w/1.4tc, f5.6, 1/1250, iso640, man exp

    Well done Todd, nice shot of the falcon, and well exposed given the bright sky, also looks nice and sharp for me. Perhaps a tiny bit tighter crop would show off the falcon a little more, and if you could coax a little more detail out of the dark feathers around the falcons head without it getting noisy?

    Lovely pose of the bird and well done getting such a fast bird sharp in flight.
    I do see a slight halo around the bird on my screen so perhaps that is due to post processing.

    Congrats on your nice find, and a good pose. I agree this would be even better if the falcon was bigger in the frame (if the details can stand more cropping). There is a faint highlight in the eye that would be worth lighten a bit for web presentation.
