    Whilst out shooting Bee-eaters, I decided to have a go at these guys. They had chicks nearby, and this was him approaching me for a dive bomb to harass me away from the chicks. Taken on a private farm a little while ago.

    Hi Stuart another great image of this little guy. I also like the wing position and clarity. Good HA and eye contact for this flight position, he has you fixed firmly in his sights.

    Nice pose with the outstretched wing. They look like they have a nice interesting head and neck area, it would be nice to see what a portrait image of these birds looks like.

    I am a Lapwing lover; one of my most favorite birds. Where we are with our caravan there are breeding pairs all over the place.
