    Default Is she ready?

We have seen many lions in Etosha. These are also from the pride where the clipped off tailed young mail was from. I warmed up the photo a bit and had to resize it a lot to get into the 200kb limit, and I am still on my laptop in Moscow, so suggestions and comments are especially welcome.

Great habitat behavior well captured Lorant, there is a slight magenta cast here.
Took the colour cast away via Nik Efix pro 3 (CC removal) and used a Luminosity layer in CS5 as well.
Let me know what you think?

Lorant - Nice to see a broader view. Agree with Marc about the magenta cast. It's most visible in the trees in the bg. Marc's repost takes care of it.

Thanks Marc; very nice repost. Can you explain me how you did the "Luminosity layer in CS5"?

Lorant, I like the animal behaviour shown in the image and especially the almost pastel quality of the photograph. The repost gets rid of the cast.

I like the story telling aspect of this image very much.

The mentioned colour cast is evident here on the original post.

    Lorant,

I think the answer to your question is probably not yet, as the presence of the sub-adults would not normally occur.

The grouping works very well, I hope she waits a while then we might have some "tiny" cubs for late June next year.

Like the behavior and the color of the vegetation in the background. The repost really brings it out well.
