    Interesting pose :). Good job on the hand-holding from a moving boat.

    Despite the action going on towards the left, I still feel the bird would be better placed further left in the frame. There is currently too much empty space there.

    The bird looks underexposed. I wonder if it was even more so, but you have opened it up in pp, because of the apparent noise in the dark plumage.

    What ISO were you shooting at? Is it a large crop?

    thank you for the comments. it was a large crop, the exact time was 5.57 pm, almost sun set,poor light, iso was set o 200. the image was originally very dark, in canin dpp exposure correction done to 1.83
