    Even if the light was not too good this was an opportunity to good not to give it a try. Pesky twigs again:(

    Taken in Tuli Block, Botswana 20th, September 2008

    EOS 1D MkIII

    500mm F4 IS hand-held from open game viewing vehicle

    F5.6, ISO 1600, 1/200!

    Love the intensity in the eyes here in this young male Ken, nice and sharp with good detail considering light and ISO.

    Ken - I too like the intensity. This also conveys the fierceness (is that a word?) of the leopard. At least the pesky twigs aren't in front of the face :).

    Thanks to you all for your kind comments. I think it shows that even if the conditions are far from ideal, it is worth trying ,as on occasions it can work reasonably well.

    Ken, I like the intense stare, and just love the detail on the head. You have done exceptionally well considering the light. Well done.
